Rutalia

Sustainable travel app

Rutalia is a mobile app for sustainable, local tourism, built in ASPASIA’s Apps Factory workshop with a multidisciplinary team. I joined in the final phase, contributing market and competitor research, empathy mapping, UX decision support, the marketing strategy and an Instagram community plan, plus the naming and logo.

Rutalia — Sustainable travel app

The challenge

Join a project already well underway — idea and UX largely defined — and add real value fast: sharpen the audience and value proposition, and give the product a brand narrative and a go-to-market it didn’t yet have.

The approach

Market and competitor research plus empathy maps to refine the audience; UX support to keep the value proposition aligned with user needs; a short/medium/long-term marketing strategy with an Instagram plan for a local Barcelona community; and naming and logo built around sustainability and local connection.
